Course Outcome
≥93% of participants will expand their expertise in identifying and addressing the root contributors to chronic conditions such as fatigue, weight gain, moodiness, and digestive imbalance by reducing internal irritation in the body through targeted nutrition strategies.
Course Objectives
After completing this course, the participant will be able to:
- Describe the difference between acute and chronic inflammation and explain how low-grade inflammation contributes to fatigue, digestive issues, and mood imbalances.
- Identify dietary patterns, nutrients, and food components that either contribute to or protect against chronic inflammation and disease progression.
- Tailor interventions by severity level (mild, moderate, complex) and adapt protocols for sustainability, cultural relevance, and long-term client success.
- Design and implement anti-inflammatory nutrition protocols that reduce systemic inflammation and support long-term prevention of chronic conditions.
- Modify nutrition interventions based on client-specific risk factors (e.g., obesity, insulin resistance, elevated hs-CRP), and integrate food-based strategies for clients at different stages of disease risk or management.
Who Should Enroll?
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs) and Dietetic Technicians, Registered (DTRs): Nutrition professionals who want to deepen their ability to use food and targeted nutrient therapy to reduce inflammation, support healing, and personalize care for clients with potential chronic conditions.
- Functional and Integrative Practitioners: RDs, DTRs, and nutrition-focused clinicians working in private practice, medical offices, or interdisciplinary care settings seeking to apply therapeutic nutrition strategies rooted in current research on inflammation, immunity, and microbiome science.
