Fulfill All Your CDCES Requirements in One Package

According to CBDCE updated requirements, CDCES professionals must complete 75 hours of continuing education (CE) related to diabetes care and education within their five-year renewal cycle. This includes:

  • Participation in at least two activities focused on the American Diabetes Association’s Standards of Care in Diabetes are required within each cycle.
  • At least 45 hours from activities provided or approved by a CBDCE-recognized organization, such as the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). 

    To reflect the expanding scope of diabetes care, the Board strongly encourages CE in at least one of the following areas:

    • Education principles and teaching strategies
    • Diabetes-related technology
    • Leadership and strategy (e.g., quality improvement, program development, change management)
    • Population health
    • Diversity, equity, and inclusion

All Dietitians is a CDR-approved continuing education provider, and all courses are eligible for formal CE hours accepted by CBDCE for CDCES renewal.
